Every day, I feel like we hear a story about how Covid-19 has impacted the lives of those we know. I’m so heartbroken for my Saint Louis brides and clients because I know it affected you in some way.
I understand this is a global pandemic. I truly do. And while we all still take the pandemic seriously, it’s also okay to mourn the things we’re missing.
This year is hard. It’s even harder knowing the exact right decision to make in life AND business.
Saint Louis Brides
I know my local Saint Louis brides have really struggled this year. So many that have canceled, postponed, or completely changed their original plans. The greatest year of your life was flipped upside down.
I want each of you to know that I’m here for you, either in the form of empowerment through a boudoir session or friendship. And if you need someone to complain to, I’m here for that, too.
A few horror stories
One of my clients not only postponed her wedding, her fiancé is overseas and can’t get back into the U.S. They aren’t sure when he can come home.
I follow a couple on TikTok who was on their honeymoon when Covid-19 shut everything down. Now, they’re stuck in Thailand indefinitely. They’ve been floating around from hostel to hostel, just trying to make it. I mean, we always think it would be awesome to be stuck on vacation indefinitely… until something like this happens.
Many local businesses have really taken a hit this year. I truly hope support local businesses, especially in this uncertain time.
By the way, I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate the love and support I’ve gotten from my clients and friends. I really couldn’t have made it without you guys.
I’m also so thankful that I’m back in the studio, and have been since May.
I want to give a shout out to some of my favorite local businesses… Just Fakin Tans, Gillian Hughes(Momshell Method), and Tiffany Ruby.
I’ve had to make some big changes… some of which I will be blogging about in the next few weeks. Big decisions in times of uncertainty like this are extremely hard, but I want to continue to serve and empower my beautiful clients, so changes needed to be made.
With this blog, I want to say I’m heartbroken for the canceled and postponed weddings, the missed vacations, and all the other things you’ve missed out on. I want you to know I’m here for you and fingers crossed that this is over and we can start rebuilding our lives and businesses.
And if you need a day of self-care and someone to remind you that you are perfect and beautiful just as you are… I’m here for ya.
