Boudoir Saint Louis Photography

Maybe you’ve considered a boudoir Saint Louis session, but you’re nervous.
I get it. Most of my clients are nervous before they book a session. I mean, you’re going to be half naked(or more) in front of a “stranger”. I have that in quotations because after the session we won’t feel like strangers. Most of the time we feel like BFF’s.
But at the same time, I have a few things implemented to help you get super comfortable.
Coming well prepped helps your nerves
I’ve learned a few things about prepping clients well before their boudoir Saint Louis session after seven years in business.
My best recommendations can be found in my Ultimate Guide to Session Prep here. Inside this guide, you can find an in-depth overview of the session experience, tips on how to prep for your session, outfit ideas and tips and even ideas on how to gift him the album.
If you still have questions after reviewing this super in depth guide, be sure to book a video consult with me here. Between these two options, most clients aren’t as nervous before their session.
Being fully prepared helps dull those nerves, which in turn helps create BEAUTIFUL photos.
Mimosas and Boudoir Saint Louis
But if you’re still nervous even after prepping(it’s normal), I have you covered here, too. We have mimosas at the studio to help calm your nerves!
But there are rules. I limit clients to one small mimosa for lots of reasons. Red faces and feeling hot are the biggest reason. You don’t want either to show up in your photos. And neither do I. That’s hard to retouch.
I also want you to be completely sober after your session, and by the time the session is over, you will be.
Ice Breaker Poses
And then there’s my Ice Breaker poses. I created these poses, and have them specifically at the beginning of the session. These poses help clients get super comfortable really quickly. They are designed for specific outfits, typically bodysuits. The poses are flattering for all body types, and show off each woman’s best features.
Usually, after finishing these first poses, clients are walking around feeling confident, beautiful, and ready to rock the rest of the session!
Conclusion
Nerves before a boudoir Saint Louis photography session are normal. If you’re well prepared and trust the process though, your photos will be gorgeous and the album will blow your groom’s mind(and yours).
Be sure to download the Ultimate Guide mentioned above so that you’re ready for your session!
