Groom’s Wedding Gift: The Perfect Idea

Bridal boudoir albums are so much better than flasks or watches. I’m sure he will agree.
Have you googled “the perfect groom’s wedding gift” since you started your search for something for your man on the wedding day? If so, I bet the results were something like watches, flasks, whiskey glasses, or tech stuff.
That’s all great and I’m sure he would love it.
But this is your ONE WEDDING DAY. You need to wow him with something unique and personal.
How about a bridal boudoir album? Something to remind him of how lucky he is to get to spend the rest of his life with you.
Not something that you both will set aside in later years. Something you can look back on to remember how hot you were when you were starting your life together.
In this post, I’m going to explain to you what a boudoir session is, why it’s the perfect groom’s wedding gift, touch on what to wear, AND help you figure out how to gift it to him the day of the wedding.

What is a bridal boudoir session?
A bridal boudoir session is just like a normal boudoir session, but the end goal is to have the PERFECT album to give as a groom’s wedding gift on the most important day of your lives.
Hair and makeup, mimosas, and pampering are all included in the session. I guide you on what to bring as far as outfits and even show you how to wear that sexy lingerie you want to surprise him with on the wedding day.
I know what you’re thinking. “But I don’t have a CLUE how to be sexy.”
I’ve got you covered here. I pose you from head to toe during the session. That’s not something you need to even think about before, during, or even after the session.

So, why IS this the perfect groom’s wedding gift?
Like I said before, it’s unique and personal. Unlike the flask or whiskey glasses I mentioned before, this is something he won’t just set aside to collect dust.
When he opens the gift that day, he will be so excited that this beautiful woman is the woman he is marrying and choosing to spend his life with.
It’s something you can BOTH cherish for the rest of your lives. He can look back and remember the woman he fell in love with, while you can remember how confident and beautiful you felt at this point in your life.

But what should you wear?
For in depth ideas, refer to these blog posts… What to Wear: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and 2019 Outfit Suggestions.
But as an overview, you will want to bring:
- At least one bodysuit- usually a thong so that it’s more high waisted.
- At least 2-3 bra/pant sets
- One of his button-up shirts or something meaningful to both of you.
- High heels- the higher the better
For the underwear, I’d recommend cheekies or thongs and make sure they are one size bigger than you would normally wear to prevent “muffin” over your underwear.
We all have it no matter what size we are, I promise.

How to give this AMAZING groom’s wedding gift
I have an entire blog post written ALL about this topic. But here’s a quick overview on previous client’s ideas.
- When you would traditionally give the album- just make sure the groomsmen aren’t around!
- Give him a small nightstand album with less risque images and a super sweet note explaining he will get the rest of the gift later.
- After the rehearsal dinner so he can get excited about the wedding day(and night).
- The wedding night when you both are alone.
- At the Honeymoon, so you can both take the time to enjoy it.

Conclusion
I’m sure you are nervous about a session. Totally understandable.
My client Rebecka said this after hers…
“Tracy is absolutely amazing. Being someone who is self conscious, let alone exposed in front of a stranger, I have never felt more comfortable. She was very friendly, personal, and professional. She made me feel beautiful and like I was simply just hanging out with a friend.”
“I am over the moon in love with her work. She really has an eye for making your body look it’s absolute best. I received my album super quick and she was wonderful to work with. 100% so glad I chose her.”
This gift is unlike any other groom’s wedding gift you could choose, plus it’s something you both will enjoy when reminiscing about this time of your life for years to come.
