STL Wedding// Bridesmaid Proposals

Many of you have recently became engaged. By the way, congratulations! You have so many big decisions you are making right now, including who you are choosing to be in the wedding. Bridesmaid proposals have become so popular in the last few years. I LOVE the idea of asking your best friends to be in your wedding with a gift.
What are Bridesmaid Proposals?
A bridesmaid proposal is a fun and thoughtful way to ask your bridesmaid to be in your wedding. It can be in person or sent in the mail. Many brides give a fun gift box with things like macarons, puzzles, a hanger, or bath bombs and attach a note. It doesn’t have to be extravagant, but just make it special!
When to send the proposals?
First things first, you have to to choose who your bridesmaids will be. Do you want a large wedding party or a smaller one? How many groomsmen are you having? Choosing your bridal party within 2 months of you engagement and proposing by three months is ideal, as long as your wedding is at least 8 months out. This will give your bridal party time to schedule and plan your bridal shower, bachelorette party, and prep for the wedding!

How much to spend on each gift?
Be sure to consider that you are about to ask them to put quite a bit of time, money, and dedication into helping you with your wedding and the events surrounding your wedding, not to mention hair and makeup, the bridesmaid dress, and other expenses. This gift is a great way to show your appreciation before the whirlwind starts! Consider a meaningful and thoughtful gift in the price range of $20-60.
Where to get the Bridesmaid proposal gift?
Etsy is the obvious choice I think. I searched and found so many cute ideas.
I love these two Bridesmaid Proposal Gift boxes. You can find this one at Lala Confetti on Etsy.
This one is at ModParty on Etsy.
And how about this puzzle? Find it on Bulroses on Etsy.
What about groomsmen proposals?
Groomsmen proposals are less trendy, but are still fun ways to ask the groomsmen to be in the wedding. This is totally up to your groom and his personality, but how cute is this bottle opener?
Anyway…
The bridesmaid proposals will just make sure your bridal party feels appreciated. They are going to be going above and beyond for you in a stressful time! Start it all off on a good note!
