Girls’ Day Out Boudoir Photography Session // STL Boudoir Photography

We all know girls just want to have fun! This is what Vi had in mind when she booked with me for a STL boudoir photography session. She knew a girls’ day out would do wonders for getting away from the business and stress of work. So, she grabbed a few of her closest girlfriends and we had a blast while I was taking pictures and they were sipping on champagne; a day full of laughs and beautiful pictures!
About The Ladies
Vi Ho is who initially contacted me about the shoot. She’s a good friend of mine, and I knew from the start this would be a blast. She is a model and a jet-setter; she is bright & vivacious and knows what she wants! Her personality is so electrifying. It was exciting to have a boudoir session with her. She’s always been a supporter of mine, so I’m glad we were able to do this together. I’m also glad I got to meet her gorgeous friends!
First, there’s Ainsley; she’s a bombshell blonde who models, barrel races, and goes to school for being a chiropractor (that’s quite a resume!) We had a lot in common and getting to know her and the rest of the girls was a real treat. Next there was Kendra, who is an author who resides in STL. Don’t let her being a bookworm deceive you; she is charming and sexy all the way. Her gorgeous skin photographed so well! Alex and Madi are also from STL, and their fun and vivacious personalities really enhanced the whole experience from all of us.
The Shoot
We met in my Downtown St Louis, MO boudoir photography studio on Washington Avenue. It was a sunny, gorgeous day outside and the girls totally brought that in with them. Their sparkling personalities and awesome positivity was inspiring for me as a photographer. Our boudoir photography session started by passing out the champagne and snacks– we opted for delicious fruits. As the ladies began getting pampered and sipped on their champagne, I got to snap some gorgeous photos right of the bat.
As we eased into the shoot, we were all having a great time and it only got better! Not just one, but all of their confident souls shined brightly through the makeup, clothes, and whatever else could ever get in the way. This translated perfectly into some amazing boudoir photos! We moved to the rooftops to take advantage of the beauty of the day and got some great pictures up there as well. You could tell these girls really enjoy one another, and really needed a day to appreciate one another and just get away from it all! They got to don their Arch Apparel hats which brought a fun element to our boudoir photography session.
All in all, each girl got to unwind, let loose, and seize the day with one another. I got a lot out of the experience, too. After the shoot, they all went and grabbed dinner in Downtown STL together to round off their girls’ day out.
Why Book a Girls’ Day Out
Admit it: you work so hard for so long and are, in general, too hard on yourself. You don’t get enough “you” time, nor do you get to enjoy time with your girlfriends nearly enough. I believe in this day and age, it’s so easy to get caught up in life. The best way to unwind and get rid of lingering stress is to come to my studio and do a boudoir photography session. I mean it! You get away from the hustle and bustle; you really get a chance to find yourself and embrace your body and mind. If you’re doing it with a group, even better! You and your girlfriends can get together for cocktails, snacks, and a wonderful time together.
Check out my previous post about what services I offer for a party of ladies wanting to do a group boudoir session. Essentially, my service for parties includes many things: champagne avec une collation (champagne with snacks) and pampering, with time divided evenly between your party (for a 3 hour session). The price is $100 per girl with a minimum party of eight, but smaller parties for different prices are definitely negotiable. The experience, though, is what’s so very priceless. You and your friends will be so glad you did it. There is nothing that will shed the stress like shedding your clothes!
These reasons and more are why I truly believe everyone would get something out of a boudoir photography session. As you can see: Vi, Ainsley, Kendra, Alex and Madi had the best of times getting away from it all to come together for a day of fun and relaxation. And the results were stunning! I really loved getting to shoot my friend and supporter and can’t wait to work with her again. If you’re ready to book your session with your friends, or if you’re just wanting to book me for yourself, contact me here. I can’t wait to get to know you and your story.
